About the Process
I threw the form on the wheel for an ample, ergonomic shape, trimmed the foot, then carved fluid river lines. I filled them with white porcelain slip for raised depth, emphasizing my artisan touch. Finally, I scraped the excess, refined the contours, and fired the piece twice.
